The Moldova Foundation relies solely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations. It accepts gifts of cash via check or wire.
Checks should be made payable to “Moldova Foundation.”
Because The Moldova Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, U.S. residents will find their donations to be tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.You may deduct the value of the entire deduction or up to 50% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) in the year the deduction is taken (Carry Forward Deductions: Any excess tax deductions may be carried forward and deducted an additional five (5) years after the year of the original contribution).

What your donations can do?
Individual contributions are vital to the Moldova Foundation’s activities. Below are just a couple of things your donations can do:
- $100 pays a Moldova.org portal’s editor in Moldova for a period of one month
- $250 covers the cost of server hosting for the Moldova.org portal for one month
- $500 sponsors a seminar or conference: pays for 4-day stay at a hotel in Washington, DC for a civil society expert invited as speaker
- $1,000 covers a return airline ticket for a speaker to one of our events in Washington, DC (an expert from Moldova or Western Europe, exclusively NGO representatives)
- $2,500 covers the cost for hosting an one-day conference in Washington, DC
